Nepal School Project

The Aim

The aim of "The Nepal School Project" is that we can establish a better learning environment for the less fortunate children of the world. This includes repairing the building to a better condition, adding stationary, books, and furniture.

The school is located near Gorkha in Nepal.

Name of the school: Shree Bhairabi Primary School
Address: Arupokhara- 6, Ratamate, Gorkha.

It consists of 41 students, 2 teachers, in 1 building.

The education levels in Nepal are very low compared to other places in the world, these figures include:

Education for Kathmandu:

Primary school: 71 %
Secondary school: 38 %
High school: 28%
University: 17%

Education for Gorkha

Primary school: 60 %
Secondary school: 35%
High school: 16%
University: below 5%

As education is non compulsory we hope that with a higher quality school that more children will attend.
